Just getting started but easy to use and intuitive
Really enjoyed the variety of games and was hooked from the start! Until I ran into problems with lots of bugs on the mobile version. One game doesnt even work - always a frozen screen. Several other games freeze at certain levels which prevents you from progressing to the next level. Very disappointing and I would not recommend paying for Cognifit.
I like it. It is challenging but fun.
Just try it. Why not?
...on the iphone 6 plus nor on the new ipad air
Could be great, but simply isnt.
Im using iPhone 6. The cow game seems to be totally frozen and the bird spelling game has bugs, too. Other games seem good so far. I can see where I will get hooked on this app. Lets hope its good for my brain and not just a time waster.
I needed this
Enter the year first then month and day, that will resolve the date issue some people are experiencing.
Its a fun app that does make you feel like youre exercising your brain but there seems to be some problems with it functioning properly. The seen or heard game doesnt have any sound which is needed for the game but it dings you still if you miss it. The sounds do not appear to be a problem with the other games. In addition the instructions arent complete, it ends with "if a sound was heard before click" and thats it. Its fun, but a let down because your results arent accurate due to the bugs in the game.
every time I touch the Personalized training button.
Very nice app
App initially opened (first time I tried to use app)-- a little glitchy when I was entering my personal info--wouldnt let me set my birthday month and day until I first set year--bday default is set to "todays date," so if your month is after todays date, it wont let you set it as a "future date," thus having to set the year back first. Once that was figured out, app asked to use location services. I said no, and the it just kept flashing the location services request on and off the screen (not enough time to press anything). I restarted the app for one more try, and it crashed immediately. I cant comment about the content of this app, as I have never been able to actually use it. Would give it zero stars if I could, as one star sort of implies it actually doing something
It is the best between all programs
I would like to try all of its features, but it costs too much.
Historically Ive chosen to spend a good portion of my idle time playing games on my phone.. When I could be choosing to be productive. CogniFit give the user the ability to satisfy their hunger for playing games, while training your brain to expand while doing so. Definitely give this app a shot. ((I do like the interface, but expect the graphics of the game to become more refined over continuing updates))
I have been using CogniFit for several weeks now, sometimes using their training plan, and sometimes just playing games. The app measures and trains a number of different aspects of cognitive function. I have noticed that my short-term memory is improved as well as my confidence. There could be more help documentation with it. Some games like "Twist It" are not straight forward and could benefit from more documentation. And sometimes Twist It stops working for me, but only that one game out of a long list of games they offer has that issue.
For $20 a month, I only see 10 games to play. Some of the games like Mahjong, Soduko, and the jigsaw puzzle I can play on less expensive apps. An excellent, well done app. But for $20 I expected more for my money.
The games seems simple but in fact it trains all aspect of the brain. Amazing app
Sound doesn’t work in sound requiring game. Have to pay to unlock any sort of features. The same few games cycle repeatedly: mahjong, some whack a mole thing, and some matching game a la bejeweled but not nearly as entertaining. Not much, if anything, that makes me want to pay to upgrade here.
